Inspire and help your community to discover God’s heart and mobilize for imaginative community engagement!

I am available to come and speak as well as to lead workshops for your organization or church community either in person or online, in order to inspire and equip your people to engage with your community in creative ways.

Public Speaking/Talks/Preaching

I have been described as a gifted communicator with a heart for the broken and those who have been marginalized by society as well as having a heart for the church. I enjoy ministering to a broad range of people, having been involved in a number of cutting edge ministries and organizations as well as mainstream churches.

I bring a message that is heartfelt, innovative, funny and engaging, as a speaker who crosses boundaries, cultures and denominational lines with ease. I am available to share stories of journeying with God in surprising places and insights I have learned from experience, in addition to sharing from Scripture God’s heart for your organization and your community.

Down to earth. Complex/religious topics explained and shared in everyday language.

Here are some popular workshops that I offer:

Practicing A Spirituality of No Borders

These workshops are designed to encourage folks to navigate and engage with others in an ever increasingly changing world where people often have different opinions and world views from them as well as help folks see humanity as God sees people – with value, beauty and significance.

Topics include exploring Jesus’ words to love God and neighbor as we love ourselves; how the Trinity informs on what it means to be human; exploring what loving engagements look like with folks who might not share our world view; developing practices that reflect God’s heart for all of creation.

Finding God in Unexpected Places

These workshops are designed to equip folks to engage in God’s heart for their community in an ever-changing world.

Topics include God’s heart for your community and the marginalized; how to recognize and engage what God might be doing in your community; the Spirit at work in all of creation; exploring what the Gospel might look like in the places you live, work and socialize.

Rob Schellert is a preacher with a big heart for Jesus and people, and has a dedication to what he wants to convey that extends to those who listen.
